Dr. Erin Krupa received a B.S. in mathematics from Elon University in 2002. After, she earned a master’s degree from Wake Forest University in mathematics and then taught for four years at W.G. Enloe High School in Raleigh before returning to school to earn her Ph.D. in mathematics education at North Carolina State University (NCSU).
Erin was an Associate Professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey for 7.5 years before returning to NCSU in January. Now, she is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Education where she teaches a wide range of mathematics courses and researches the effectiveness of mathematics curricula and innovative professional development in K-12 schools. She has been awarded more than $8.5 million in external funding over the last seven years to support her research.
